Maximizing the Set Cardinality of Users Scheduled for Ultra-Dense uRLLC Networks

چکیده

Ultra-reliability and low latency communication has long been an important but challenging task in the fifth sixth generation wireless systems. Scheduling as many users possible to serve on limited time-frequency resource is one of a crucial topic, subjecting maximum allowable transmission power minimum rate requirement each user. We address it by proposing mixed integer programming model, with goal maximizing set cardinality instead system sum or energy efficiency. Mathematical transformations successive convex approximation are combined solve complex optimization problem. Numerical results show that proposed method achieves considerable performance compared exhaustive search method, lower computational complexity.

Wireless Fractal Ultra-Dense Cellular Networks

With the ever-growing number of mobile devices, there is an explosive expansion in mobile data services. This represents a challenge for the traditional cellular network architecture to cope with the massive wireless traffic generated by mobile media applications. To meet this challenge, research is currently focused on the introduction of a small cell base station (BS) due to its low transmit ...

Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communication (URLLC): Principles and Building Blocks

Ultra-reliable low latency communication (URLLC) is an important new feature brought by 5G, with a potential to support a vast set of applications that rely on mission-critical links. In this article, we first discuss the principles for supporting URLLC in the perspective to the traditional assumptions and models applied in communication/information theory. We then discuss how this principles a...

Ultra-Reliable Low Latency Communication (URLLC) using Interface Diversity

An important ingredient of the future 5G systems will be Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communication (URLLC). A way to offer URLLC without intervention in the baseband/PHY layer design is to use interface diversity and integrate multiple communication interfaces, each interface based on a different technology. In this work, we propose to use coding to seamlessly distribute coded payload and redund...

On the Fundamental Characteristics of Ultra-Dense Small Cell Networks

In order to cope with the forecasted 1000× increase in wireless capacity demands by 2030, network operators will aggressively densify their network infrastructure to reuse the spectrum as much as possible. However, it is important to realise that these new ultra-dense small cell networks are fundamentally different from the traditional macrocell or sparse small cell networks, and thus ultra-den...
